Annan Athletic came to us looking to make their site easier to use – for staff and fans alike – and bring their online presence and squarely up to date.
Included in their brief was the creation of a new online brand and information portal for the club, development of a social media strategy and creation of an online shopping platform.
We set up a tailor made content management system, enabling the club update their own content; including players, results and news, all in-house. We also created a new, fresh looking updated design, in-keeping with the club’s existing recognised brand, logo and marketing material.
In addition we made it as easy as possible for AAFC’s fans to find match results, player statistics and other media from the club by creating a purpose-built ‘match centre’. This easily-accessible user-friendly framework houses key information about fixtures, events and is all completely managed by AAFC club staff.
To help AAFC connect directly with fans we integrated the new site with Facebook, Twitter and Annan.tv – further cementing AAFC’s profile as a highly professional, community-integrated football club.
The site has enjoyed an excellent reception, with a positive response from fans and consistently high traffic levels.
The club now provides live match reporting via Facebook and Twitter, which attracts subscribers from around the world.
