Kit keeps things ticking over at Creatomatic.
A time-served and extremely experienced web designer, Kit has worked in the industry since 2001: he’s been a freelancer, a Creative Director, lectured in Web Design and Development, and co-founded Creatomatic in 2012.
What Kit does
Kit is more-or-less responsible for the day to day running of Creatomatic: project management, account management, design and development all pass under his watchful eye.
Occasionally, he gets to design and build things too, but that doesn’t happen too often these days – which isn’t always a bad thing.
Having worked in internet sales and marketing for over a decade, James brings a solid understanding of what is required to run a successful business online to our clients. A co-founder of Creatomatic James is now responsible for planning, wireframes, content and SEO.
What James does
Planning, usability and online marketing – James is responsible for ensuring your website meets the needs of both you and your users, whilst keeping ahead of the curve with Google.
He’ll also happily toss in an opinion on pretty much anything (invited or not).
Web designer/mobile specialist
Chris joined us right from the start (having first appeared on our radar as a former student during Kit’s lecturing days). Since then he’s taken everything Kit, James, our clients and ever-changing industry has thrown at him all in his stride and ran with it.
What Chris does
Originally joining Team Creatomatic as our junior designer, Chris’ role has evolved to include mobile/responsive specialist, wireframe designs & web development.
All of this whilst being the main point of contact for many of our clients.
Web Developer and Administrator
A hugely talented programmer and problem solver, James has an outstanding knack of seeing (and then creating) simple, efficient solutions to complex problems. Having utterly proved his worth during his time as a freelancer in our early days, James joined us full time in early 2013.
What James does
As our in-house developer James is in charge of our more challenging build jobs, hand-coding systems around our client’s unique specifications, as well as writing custom WordPress plugins and jQuery scripts.
He also keeps a watchful eye on our servers and security systems to make sure they’re all ticking over smoothly.
Graphic & Web Designer
A brilliantly talented graphic and web designer with a decade and a half’s experience in creating beautiful, clean web and logo concepts.
Paul joined us in 2015 after a long standing working relationship that’s stretched back over ten years.
What Paul does
Paul deals with all front end web & graphic design, working directly with clients to turn their ideas into beautiful, functional websites, logos and media.
Out of work he’s Vice Chairman of the Muckle Toon Adventure Festival and can normally be found on two-wheels exploring the hills & trails surrounding Langholm.
