Kingask Cottages is a family run, property letting agency offering delightful self-catering holiday accommodation in St Andrews and the East Neuk of Fife – a wonderful part of the world, famous for its golf.
With St Andrews set to host the 150th Open Championship in 2022, it’s an important time for both Kingask and the local area.
Creatomatic were approached to take on a complete redesign and build of the Kingask Cottages website, with integrated online booking facilities via SuperControl.
While the incumbent Kingask site was already serving availability and booking functionality from the SuperControl API, the site user journey was awkward and fragmented with users required to enter duplicate information at several stages.
Working closely with the team at Kingask, our design and build team put together a set of fresh new designs, making full use of our SuperControl landing page system while integrating a number of important features identified by the client.
Launched just as lockdown restrictions were beginning to ease and a surge of interest and bookings anticipated, the Special Offers section was viewed as key to the site – the team worked hard on an intuitive system which displays special offers for different properties in a clean and easy to navigate format.
