We found love in an old book place*
This week, we launched a slightly refreshed WordPress retrofit for the local legends at The Bookshop in Wigtown. (For those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of visiting this establishment, it’s like a real-life Black Books, but bigger. And with more wine. The Bookshop Facebook page gives an excellent flavour of the place). We relaunched the site to coincide with Jessica Fox’s latest book launch, ‘Three Things You Need To Know About Rockets’. We’d read a bit about it, so we knew that it was a memoir on how she found her way to Wigtown from working with NASA in LA. What we didn’t know, though, until we read it in the Guardian this weekend, was that the journey, and indeed the story, started with Jessica Googling ‘used bookshop Scotland’.
