The role

This is an entry level role at an established web design agency – great for someone looking for a first step into the industry.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual with an ethos for providing excellent customer service, as well as great written communication, IT and people skills.

Some experience using WordPress would be a bonus, but training will be provided, and we’re happy to help the right person to find their feet and learn on the job.

Working hours and days can be flexible, but we’re looking for you to work at least two days on site at our Lockerbie HQ. Let us know what days and times would work for you in your covering email or letter.

Training and all required IT equipment will be provided.

Duties

As assistant to our Support, Development and Digital Marketing teams, the role will entail work on a wide scope of web projects, plus being a first point of contact for many of our clients. Tasks and duties will include:

  • First line support, handling incoming email and support tickets
  • Monthly client check-ins
  • Answering the phone
  • Website health checks
  • Integrating content into client websites

In return, you’ll receive a fair and competitive salary and benefits; a flexible working schedule; good holidays and a challenging and entertaining working environment.

Perks and benefits

  • Real Living Wage salary
  • Flexible hybrid working – location and hours; split between office and remote
  • Generous holiday entitlement (24 days + bank holidays)
  • Workplace pension scheme
  • Dedicated training & development budget, open to anyone on our team, and regular knowledge shares for cross team learning.
  • Christmas shutdown (minimum two weeks every year)
  • We take almost every bank holiday going
  • Cycle to Work schemes
  • Perks discount scheme
  • Modern Apprenticeship scheme (where eligible) applicants aged between 16 and 25 may be eligible to work towards a Modern Apprenticeship qualification as part of this role. Eligibility for this programme is not a requirement for applying – we welcome candidates of all ages.

Creatomatic have enjoyed year-on-year growth since we opened our doors in 2012. We’re based in Lockerbie, an easy commute from Dumfries / Carlisle.
