Laggan

The South of Scotland’s premier rural event venue, with a website to match

Work: Laggan

Laggan has been a name synonymous with the Dumfries and Galloway region for many years. Starting out as Laggan Outdoor, a diversified farm business, in 2007, over the years they have grown into a beautiful self-catering, wedding and events venue.

Bringing people together over good food and good times, the new Laggan Life brand launched in 2020 combining the self catering snugs, wedding and events venue, and opening the new restaurant too.

In terms of functionality, the website needed to bring together the three main elements of the business; the Seaview Snugs, the new restaurant, Gather, and the wedding and events venue, GG’s Yard.

The Seaview Snugs required SuperControl integration, allowing visitors to easily view and book the dates for their stay, so we used our SAM system to ensure the properties could be managed, updated and controlled by the team at Laggan as needed.

Our development team worked to build a bespoke wedding calculator for GG’s Yard, allowing couples to ballpark a cost for their wedding day before making an enquiry. This was designed with ease of use in mind, so the team at Laggan could update data whenever required.

Tying in with the clean, timeless branding, the new website allows the Laggan team to manage bookings and enquiries in one place.

The Laggan Life site uses both our SAM booking system for the holiday properties, and our EVE events booking system for the events element of the site.
