Our Good Business Charter accreditation renewed for the fifth year running

Emma Porteous 11th of March 2025

We are proud to renew our accreditation with the Good Business Charter for 2025 – as we’ve done every year since it was founded. It aligns so closely with our values as an organisation, making it an easy decision to renew each year. It’s open to UK organisations of all sizes and it recognises responsible business behaviour across ten key components and pillars of commitment.

We always want to be accountable in our business and show our commitment to doing business sustainably and equitably for our staff, suppliers and customers and the environment.

As an organisation with under 51 employees:

– We commit to pay our directly employed and regularly contracted staff the Real Living Wage as defined by the Living Wage Foundation and we are still one of the only Real Living Wage accredited tech industry employers in the region.

 – We commit to only use zero or minimal hours contracts when it is mutually beneficial and accepted by both us and the employee – but we’ve never used them.

 – We support and encourage employee wellbeing, treating everyone in a fair and respectful way and we promote access to impartial support and advice for employees with additional physical and mental health needs. We’re a close team and it’s always important for us to support each other, not just in our work.

 – We commit to having a way where every employee can make suggestions or raise issues with senior management.

 – We commit to having robust measures in place to encourage diversity at every stage of recruitment, selection and retention of our employees and we will do everything we can to prevent harassment or victimisation in the workplace.

– We care about our environment and we encourage the development of good environmental practices as an organisation, seeking to minimise our impact and commit to improving it and we always love supporting the small businesses around us to reduce our carbon footprint.

Our HQ and web servers are powered by electricity from 100% renewable energy sources.

 – We commit to pay our taxes where applicable, only use tax allowances for the purpose intended, and be transparent in our relationship with HMRC.

 – We have a clear commitment to our stakeholders and we prioritise addressing and learning from stakeholder feedback, seeking to put negative issues right.

 – We commit to ethical sourcing of anything we purchase, such as by applying standards set out in the Ethical Trading Initiative Base Code where relevant.

 – We commit to paying our suppliers promptly, and within at least 30 days but usually much quicker than that.

If you’d like to know more about our values as an organisation, grab a coffee with our team and let us know what you’d like to see us do in the future.
