We’re upgrading our accounts system

James Miodonski 29th of January 2021

With a degree of trepidation, and nine and a half years use, we’re biting the bullet and upgrading our accounts system at the end of this month.

The last time we trialled this, there were a few teething problems – the main one being every outstanding invoice we had on the system was marked as overdue, even if it was only a few days old.

This quite understandably led to us fielding some annoyed phone calls until we figured out what had happened. Our software partners on this front have promised us that this won’t happen again and – given that they intend to close down the (perfectly functional) legacy platform we’ve run Creatomatic on since our inception – we’re having to take them on their word for this. If they do put us through that again, we’ll slash their tyres.

Apart from some minor layout changes, we’re trying to keep everything you receive from us as close to what you’re used to as possible. If you notice anything strange – such as being pestered for an unpaid bill that you only received the day before – please bear with us. It’s not intentional, and we’ll be working our way through everything to make sure things are corrected as soon as we possibly can.

Thanks loads in advance – we’re doing all that we can to ensure the transition goes through smoothly.
