Help us help the First Base Agency get through winter

James Miodonski 9th of October 2017

Folks,

We’ve been working with the First Base Agency for the last couple of years. They’re a Dumfries-based, independent food bank distributing aid around the region; they deliver around 5000 food parcels a year in increasingly challenging circumstances, and we’re proud to stand alongside them.

This year, belts are tight, and the agency are struggling to raise funds.

Mark and the team are running a fundraiser to keep the agency open over the coming winter. They reckon that they’ll distribute over 3000 food packages to families around the region through the winter, at a cost of £15,000 – but right now, a fortnight in, their £10,000 campaign hasn’t reached 50% of funding.

So. Creatomatic is going to give them a bit of a push to get them over the finish line:

  • Today, we’re going to donate enough to take them up to 50% of their fundraiser. At time of writing, this will be a £161 donation.
  • Then, for the next fortnight, we’ll match every donation, pound for pound.

If you or your company can donate £10, Creatomatic will make it £20. Donate £50, Creatomatic will make it £100. Etc, etc. Right up until we hit the £10,000 that the agency need to keep their doors open.

We reckon that our clients are the kind of generous people who might just get behind this. (Yes, this is emotional blackmail.) We also reckon that we couldn’t really donate to a worthier local cause. And look, the button’s right there, it couldn’t be any easier to click…

In all seriousness: We’re extremely lucky to be running a successful little business here, and we’re painfully aware that there are people really struggling within walking distance of our comfortable offices. Please help us make things a bit easier for some of them.

Thanks,

Team Creatomatic x
