Meet Laura Tickner – Our new graphic designer

Jack Ogston 24th of January 2023

Introducing the 14th member of team Creatomatic, Laura Tickner. Laura joins our graphic and web design team with a 1st class honours degree in illustration, several years industry experience and a show-stopping portfolio to back it all up. We sat down with Laura last week to learn a little bit more about her…

Welcome to Creatomatic Laura! Tell us about your career in design to date.

I’ve always been passionate about design and illustration. I’ve had some really interesting roles since finishing uni in 2019 including 18 months with another digital agency. This has really helped me to develop my skills.

It’s been great to put everything I have learned into practice for businesses and organisations around the UK and I feel like it’s the perfect time to join Creatomatic.

What skills and ideas are you looking to bring to Creatomatic?

I’ve worked on lots of different projects for a variety of clients in my previous jobs from designing websites to creating digital assets for social media to working with businesses to create new logos and brand identities. But I’m particularly interested in web design and brand identity.

I’m looking forward to meeting and working with Creatomatic clients new and old and helping them to stand out with eyecatching websites and brands. I’m really excited to get going and put everything I have learned at uni and in my previous roles, to good use.

Finally, what kind of things do you enjoy doing outside of work?

When I’m not designing, you’ll most likely find me at the gym, going out with my friends, walking my little pup Bailey or binge-watching a good crime documentary on Netflix.
