1. Google Shopping & Merchant Center Integration
To increase product visibility and drive more qualified traffic, we:
- Integrated Barony’s WooCommerce store with Google Merchant Center
- Enabled free Google Shopping listings, opening their product range to new audiences and potential customers
This helped drive organic traffic directly to their product pages, leading to new customer acquisitions.
2. Improved Ecommerce Tracking
We began by implementing a robust and reliable GA4 ecommerce tracking setup, ensuring accurate measurement of key metrics such as product performance, sales, and user journeys on the website.
3. Mailchimp Integration & Email Marketing
Email marketing played a crucial role in the strategy. We:
- Integrated WooCommerce with Mailchimp, giving the client clear insights into customer behaviour and campaign performance
- Created clean, on-brand email templates for ongoing use
- Helped launch their first email campaign and provided guidance for future activity
4. Email Automation
We also built automation journeys to send a personalised welcome email to new subscribers.
By updating the sign-up call to action (CTA) and incentivising new sign-ups with a 5% discount code, we drove substantial growth in their email list and customer base.
