One of Scotland’s leading holiday cottage agencies, Discover Scotland came to Creatomatic in 2018 to plan, design and develop a brand new SEO-efficient website with full Super Control integrated online booking.
In 2018, Creatomatic successfully delivered this project, providing Discover Scotland with a modern, efficient, and user-friendly website. This new site likely helped increase their online visibility, attract more visitors, and streamline the booking process for customers, thanks to the integration with Super Control.
Fast forward to 2023, Discover Scotland sought Creatomatic’s expertise once again. This time, the objective was to refresh and update the website. The refresh involved updating the design to align with current trends, improving the user experience, enhancing the site’s functionality, and ensuring it continued to perform well in search engine rankings.
Key Project Points
The Discover Scotland website has been built using our SuperControl WordPress system to integrate property data directly from SuperControl – full property details, video and images, customer reviews and amenities are auto-populated like any third-party channel, alongside price and availability data to allow live direct bookings through the site.
WordPress is great for content marketing and our system allows Discover Scotland to integrate search results directly into landing pages – so the agency can be found quickly and easily for organic searches from pet friendly properties to hot tub holidays as well as building marketing collateral quickly and easily.
